We'd like to introduce you to the Utah Mobile Developers Group (UMDG). The website is http://www.utahmobiledev.org.
The mission of the UMDG is provide development-level education and networking around mobile applications. We will cover all mobile devices for which there is interest, including iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, J2ME and more.
We will be meeting monthly and will have two presentations each time. We expect to cover different platforms in each presentation to keep the overall interest as broad as is meaningful. Presentations will be technical in nature, focusing on writing code (code, test, debug) and delivery.
For 2008 our meeting dates are: Wednesday, October 29th and Thursday, December 4th.
The location for the meetings is the 4th floor conference room of the Salt Lake City Main Library. The room will accommodate 120 or so people. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided (see the plea for sponsors below).

--- Sponsors Needed! ---
Funding for the group will take place through sponsorships. Our sponsorship levels are "Platinum" which is $1000/year and "Gold" which is $500/year. We'll include sponsorship for 2008 and 2009 together. Software Technology Group (STG) is our premier sponsor at the Platinum level. If you would like to be a sponsor, please contact either Glen or Scott (contact info below). It costs about $8k per year to run a group like this (appx costs are: pizza & drinks = $500, facilities=$150) so we really need your help.
We hope to see you there!
